To say I enjoyed the videos is an understatement! Very original and bringing back lots of memories, especially Uganda.
Music-wise, do you have a track or album which always goes with you on every trip?
Leaving UK at the begining of our Africa trip in ’85, I picked a tape at random and without even looking at the title put it in the cassette player – the song was “take the long way home” by Supertramp from their “Breakfast in America” album, and travelled with us by VW van through Africa, backpacked with us in India, and by bike from Thailand to Australia. Somehow we never got sick of it and it became the theme of the trip.
I’d be interested to know what songs anyone else travels with too and the stories behind them – at this rate you’re going to have to start a forum Shane!
Ha nick, In this modern world of 4days full of ipod music its hard to say that 1 song of album stick, THough in America and Thailand I did play “another 45 miles to go” alot by golden earing.
I try to avoid forums most of the times nowadays, soo many endless discussions, The advantage of my own site is that I’m always right.
