To save weight and room and to keep my life simple on the road, I’ve decided not to take a map or GPS and instead will just look at my saddle (yeh right).
So long as I stay within the outline I should be ok:-)
This fine handy work was kindly donated by www.sintchristophorus.nl Apparently I’m the ideal test case to see what the long term effects on the durability of the saddle are once engraved. Of course an engraved saddle won’t last as long as a normal saddle, but this one only has to last about 2 years/30,000km which is a fraction of the life of a Brooks.
Time will tell, I plan to send an update photo of the saddle about every 5000km.
Shane, how many miles thus far?
Somewhere between 20-25000km I guess, and still as good as new. I can send you some photo’s if you want?
